Gogutsa Janashia's journey is a remarkable tale of resilience and passion that began in the vibrant 1960s. She cultivated her love for tailoring early on. Her whole life was during a time of change and a time of revolution. But when you love doing something, nothing can come between you and your passion!

She started her career in a small apartment, where she balanced family life and her growing tailoring business while helping to raise her grandchildren. 

By that time finding a diversity in ready-to-wear clothes was very rare. There were only a few clothing stores in the city that offered a little diversity.

She spent countless hours honing her skills, perfecting her designs, and creating beautiful, high-quality clothes for Georgian elite ladies. However, as a woman living in the 1960s in Georgia, Tbilisi, she faced numerous barriers that made it difficult to pursue her dream. But her dedication and perseverance paid off, as she soon became known as one of the best tailors in the city. Soon, she became known among the community of minister’s wives and famous people in Tbilisi. She even used to be a tailor for a magazine - “Georgian Women”.
